The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is pleased to announce the next webinar in the Healthy People 2030 Webinar Series: The Importance of Preventive Services and Lessons Learned from the Pandemic. This webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 21 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm ET. During this one-hour webinar, presenters will provide an overview of the three featured Healthy People 2030 preventive services objectives, progress made to date for these objectives, and a presentation from the National Association of County and City Health Officials on their work with local health departments and lessons learned about preventive services uptake during the pandemic.

A draft of the Physical Activity Guidelines Midcourse Report on Older Adults (Midcourse Report) will soon be available to review and provide public comment. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) developed this Midcourse Report to summarize evidence-based settings, strategies, and interventions that can be used to increase physical activity among older adults. Once the draft is made available, public comments will be accepted for 2 weeks.
