This webinar will take place on Wednesday, August 24 from 1:00 to 2:00 EDT. The webinar will provide an overview of the research that supports the inclusion of civic engagement as a social determinant of health and related Healthy People 2030 objectives.

Healthy People 2030 has an increased and overarching focus on social determinants of health (SDOH). In line with this focus, we provide literature summaries that offer a snapshot of the latest research related to SDOH. These summaries explore a range of key factors — such as discrimination, social cohesion, access to health services, and poverty — and examine how these issues can impact health outcomes and health disparities.
